The course has a duration of 5 years, being two years of basic subjects and two more of professional subjects. The final year of the course is reserved for internships, specialization and course completion work. Throughout the semesters, for the improvement of professional practices, many practical activities are offered, developed in technical visits, practical work, extension groups and laboratories. 

In addition, students have the opportunity to opt for adicional subjects that complete the basic course and that best suit their professional profile.

WHY STUDY AT ESALQ ?

ESALQ/USP's Forest Engineering course brings, for 50 years, knowledge and improvements, a qualified teaching staff, an excellent infrastructure, besides countless opportunities for learning, internship and conviviality, offered by the fifth most important school of agricultural sciences in the country, the ESALQ/USP Campus.

The teaching has two experimental stations (estações experimentais), internships in extension groups and laboratories, excursions and technical visits (visitas técnicas), exchange opportunities (intercâmbio) with double degree, academic scholarship (bolsa acadêmicas) and, for student stay, scholarships for housing, food and transportation.

In addition, ESALQ/USP offers students the degree course in Agricultural Sciences, a preparation for teaching in technical and undergraduate schools.
