HOW IS OUR PROFESSION ?

 

 

The Forest Engineer is acting with natural renewable ressources in forest ecosystems. He is responsible for projects's development, execution, management, exploration;  manufacture and industrialisation of products coming from natural or planted forests. Based on these ressources, the objectives are to improve production processes, to look after preserved areas, to model installations, to develop new technologies, to preserve biodiversity especially water and environmental services, in order to finally reach integration of the use and the conservation of natural ressources. 

 

WHERE CAN WE FIND A JOB ?

 

The Forest Engineering course is regulated by the Education Ministery of Brazil and  is an active member of the Regional Council de Architecture and Agronomy Engeneering (CREA) which are ofering professional opportunies for young graduated people, for example in big or small companies, consultancy firm, federal, state or municipal government, NGOs and others brasilian and foreigner organizations.
